The main objective of the PERSEO Programme is to promote the learning of
healthy eating habits and to encourage regular physical activity among
schoolchildren, in order to prevent obesity and other diseases. It consists of
a collection of simple schools interventions aimed at children between the ages
of 6 and 10. It also involves their families and addresses both the dining hall
and school environment in order to facilitate the choice of the healthiest
options.
Healthy eating helps to prevent obesity and many other diseases and helps to allow people to enjoy a life full of energy, wellbeing and good health.
